Carrollton-based Fastsigns International Inc. CEO Catherine Monson will appear on the third season of CBS’ Undercover Boss reality show.

Monson’s episode will air on Friday May 4. The show recently moved to Friday at 7 p.m. CT.

Fastsigns is one of the largest signage, graphics and visual communications franchise company made up of 530 locations and 4,000 employees.

Monson has been CEO since December 2008. She came to Fastsigns from PIP Printing where she was president and previously worked at Sir Speedy and MultiCopy Europe. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in business administration. Monson is on the board of the International Franchise Association.

You may remember that Dallas-based 7-Eleven Inc. CEO Joe DePinto was on the first season in 2010. DePinto and Houston-based Waste Management’s president Larry O’Donnell appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about their experiences before Undercover Boss debuted.

DePinto’s episode, which appeared on Feb. 21, 2010, was up against the Olympics and an original episode of Desperate Housewives and still had a strong showing of 13.76 million viewers.

Other bosses appearing this third season are from Yankee Candle, Taylormade Golf Co., Budget Blinds, Philly Pretzel Factory, Mastec, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Oriental Trading Co.
