Cheeseburger in Paradise Rings in 10 Years By Fighting Childhood Hunger

August 03, 2012 – Cheeseburger in Paradise, a restaurant known for its one-of-a-kind beach party atmosphere, celebrates 10 great years this August by giving back to its new nonprofit partner, Share Our Strength, to support its No Kid Hungry campaign.

Throughout the month, guests can also enjoy weekly deals, gifts, and a special celebration at the end of the month.

During August, Cheeseburger in Paradise will donate $1 for each Birthday Burger sold, with a minimum of a $10,000 donation to Share Our Strength. Share Our Strength is a national nonprofit with the goal of ending childhood hunger by 2015 by connecting kids living with the threat of hunger to the nutritious food they need, as well as educating them and their families about healthy, affordable eating.

The anniversary month will mark the beginning of a partnership with Share Our Strength as part of the nonprofit’s No Kid Hungry campaign to make sure every child in the U.S. gets the food they need, every day.

“Cheeseburger in Paradise is proud to celebrate 10 years of great food and fun atmosphere with a new nonprofit partner whose goal is to end childhood hunger in America,” says Casey Barile, Cheeseburger in Paradise director of marketing. “The partnership with Share Our Strength will raise money throughout the month of August to help support the No Kid Hungry campaign. We’re also excited to have the opportunity to thank our fans and celebrate with extra savings and gifts.”

Cheeseburger in Paradise guests can join in on the celebration with weekly deals and gifts at each restaurant location.

During the week of August 6, guests will receive a birthday card that includes a voucher for $10 off their next visit. Throughout the week of August 13, the first 200 guests at each location will receive a free special anniversary gift.

OnWednesday, August 22, Cheeseburger in Paradise will host its “BIG Anniversary Celebration,” including double points for Board Members and a special dessert for each guest.

To culminate the month-long celebration, guests can sign up to attend a special 10th Anniversary Celebration Event during the week of August 27.
