D1 Training Wraps Up 2025, Plans 200th Location in 2026

D1 Training Wraps Up 2025: D1 Training closed 2025 with steady growth across its franchise network and operations, ending the year ahead of its expansion targets.

The fitness and athletic training brand awarded more than 90 franchise agreements last year and opened over 40 new locations. It now operates more than 165 training facilities across the United States.

Along with opening new locations, the company focused on improving internal operations to support franchise owners. D1 Training expanded its in-house construction management team, which helped reduce costs by over 10%. The company also moved equipment purchasing in-house to improve efficiency and maintain consistency across locations.

Looking to 2026, D1 Training plans to continue its expansion. The company aims to open its 200th location, grow its youth sports camps and combines, and increase partnerships related to athlete performance testing and verification.

Founder and CEO Will Bartholomew said the company’s focus remains on making high-quality training available to more athletes.

“Great training can change lives, not just performance on the field,” Bartholomew said. “As we move toward our next milestone, we want to give athletes better coaching, clearer performance insights, and training experiences that help build confidence and long-term habits.”

D1 Training is also seeking new franchise partners interested in opening locations.

Founded in 2001 by former NFL player Will Bartholomew and based in Nashville, D1 Training has 170+ locations open and 200+ more in development. The company is known for its structured training system focused on overall athletic development.
